Coming up this month September 2019 at Raincross

This month we will be joined by Susan and her shop, Susan's Quilt Paradise in Beaumont! Susan will be sharing with us a trunk show of her quilts and bring part of her store to our meeting for our shopping pleasure, make sure you bring your pocketbook! We love her store and we can't wait to see what she's bringing.

For those participating in the Round Robin, our next exchange is happening this month, so now is the time to finish up the next round on the quilt top you have and make sure you bring it (or get a friend to bring it for you if you can't make it). Cassandra also issued a challenge that is due this month: take inspiration from the first quilt or project (or one of your first quilts or projects) and make something new! I'm basing my inspiration on one of the first quilts I made that I call the Geisha House Quilt - I was enraptured by rail fence when I started, so I'm making another rail fence, but I'm using some unusual fabrics. Can't wait to see what inspires you!

Barbara M. will be taking reservations for the Raincross Quilt Guild Fall 2019 Retreat "Life's a Beach" for the Oceanside beach house. Please remember to bring at least $100 deposit and get ready to sew with sand between your toes!
