Our Next Sew Day

is to make Happy Bags!  Won't you join us?  The sew day is Sept 30th - that's a Sunday- any time between 9am and 4pm.   From our treasurer:

Just in case you need it, the address for the next Sew Day is 152 East 6th St., Corona(at my office).  It is the old Corona Police building between Bank of America and the Corona Library.  There are 2 refrigerators and 2 microwaves available + hot and cold water dispensers.  I will bring coffee supplies.  We also have drink and snack machines.  Directions are: 91 freeway west, Main Street exit, turn left on Main Street, left on 6th Street.  My building “Riverside Community College District, Office of Economic Development” is on the right.  Parking is behind the building and overflow parking is in the 99 Cent store lot.  Enter at the rear of the building.  I will post RQG signs.

Thanks,

Susan Crowley

Quarter Inch Publishing

came to visit us at our August meeting.  Jane Tenorio-Coscarelli gave us a delightful slideshow/talk.  I haven't laughed so much in a long time! She also brought her wonderful patterns and kits for us to buy.  Thank you so much, Jane!

Here are just a few of the wonderful quilts she showed during her trunk show:

Our Row by Row for the VA Hospital

Here are the row by rows made by our members from leftover blocks contributed to Soldier's Angels in 2011.  If your photo is missing, please note, I tried to get each one, however some may have turned out too blurry to post. If you'd like to submit one, just send it to our email address and I'll add it.  All did a wonderful job!
