What's your favorite quilting related website or blog?

I mean, obviously BESIDES this one...:)

We're always looking for new ideas and inspiration. Some turn to Pinterest but there are some any sources out there - what are some of your favorites? Add them to the comments below.

Here are some of mine:
I've become addicted to Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorial videos - she makes everything look so easy and gosh, so easy to buy the stuff to make her beautiful quilts. Add on to the Man Sewing tutorials with the dreamy Rob Appel and I'm sold!

I also really like relaxing and reading someone else's blog and Marina Lynn's blog Quilt Inspiration fits the bill!

Coming up this month April 2018 at Raincross

Here's your monthly round up of upcoming events this month at Raincross Quilt Guild, specifically what to expect at our next guild meeting and any unique events beyond the usual scheduled events*. And don't worry - I'll still post a reminder blog a few days before the meeting with your list of things to bring. :)

*Usual scheduled events include Sew Night, Friendship Quilters, Featherweight Club, and the RQG Board meeting. If you are interested in those events, please check out the guild Calendar and/or post in the comments below and we'll help you learn more about them.

Coming up at this month's Raincross Quilt Guild meeting...

It's time for the first annual Nancy's Nifty Notions Blow Out Sale! Come one, come all, bring your dollars and get ready to grab some real bargains!

Also coming this month is Batty Lady! Sorry she had to reschedule but she and all her glorious batting will be available at the meeting. Correction: The Batty Lady is coming in May!

We'll also be sharing our completed 50% Challenge Quilts - you've got one week left to get those final stitches in, so get cracking!

If you are going on the Raincross Spring Retreat to The Nunnery, the balance of $270 is due. Please give it to Andie B. as Barbara M. will not be able to attend the meeting.

Other unique RQG activities coming up this month...

There aren't any special RQG activities this month, but there are a few quilt shows coming up, so check them out.

Eggsellent jokes

Q: What do you call a mischievous egg?
A: A practical yolker

Q: Where does the Easter Bunny eat breakfast?
A: At IHOP

Q: What does the Easter Bunny get for making a basket?
A: Two points, just like anyone else.

Q: How do you make Easter easier?
A: Replace the t with an i.

Since Easter and April Fool's Day are the same day this year, I'm sending the kids out to look for eggs I haven't hidden.
