Not too late:

Call Barbara M for details.  Know of other quilters who'd like to go on a retreat?  Pass this on.  This will be a great chance to spend 3 days of uninterrupted sewing to catch up on a project or two.

Quilt Labels

Sometimes we need help to know what to write on our quilt label (well, I know I do -an).  Here's a website that might have just what you need:

Here's an example:
with butterfly kiss and a lady bug hug,
sleep tight little one, like a bug in a rug!

A Sort/Cut Kind of Day!

This month's Sew Day is a sorting and cutting day.  It is NOT at Goeske.  It's at Susan M's house (her address is in the directory) on March 21st.  We were given these huge bags of fabric pieces and we need to sort the lot and cut to make ???

Maybe it will be baby quilts, maybe Happy Bags,  maybe kitty mats - we don't know til we go through them and we need your help.  This should prove to be a fun day - runs 9 AM to 4 PM.  We're having our usual Salad potluck.  Guild will provide the greens. Please bring something to add to the salad greens or bring dessert.  These always make the greatest lunches!

Save the date.  We'd like to see you there for conversation, some quilty work and lunch.  So bring your rotary cutter and your mat and join us!

Is this New to You?

Was to me.  I just tried it with my basic Clover seam ripper and it worked!

Go here to see what I'm talking about.  Yes, another video.  This one posted by Nancy.  And no, I don't spend all my time on the internet - LOL.  Just wanted to share.
