At Next Meeting is Our

We Appreciate You Raffle! In the spirit of the Christmas season, the board would like to show our appreciation to our fellow members who make the guild such a great organization to belong to and share our quilting hobby.  So again, we are raffling some special items for a few of our lucky members.  Here's how it works:  You will get 5 free tickets to choose which of the items being given away you would like to win.  Just drop them in the bag/envelope in front of the item and you're entered.  If there's an item you really want to win and want to up your chances, you can buy more tickets.  They will be $1.00 each.   You will get your free tickets when you sign in with Debbie W. All you need to do is put your name on the back.  See Angie N to buy extra tickets at the meeting.  Only current members  as of the November meeting can participate in this event.   Last time we had some great items - this year's should be great also.  The winners will be drawn at the end of our meeting.  Here are more photos of items from our last raffle:

Quilts of Valor

Presentation November 22, 2014

Saturday morning, December 22nd, a group of us from the Raincross Quilt Guild in Riverside, CA, gathered and had a lovely morning stitching labels on quilts followed by a nice lunch. Finally at 3 pm it was time for what we all had been waiting for - presenting the Quilts of Valor we had made to our 16+ honored veterans.  You could tell each and every veteran was very thankful to receive one of the quilts. Each of them told us stories of their time in service and their words just made you feel all the more thankful for them and all they gave for our country. Those that could not attend had family members there to receive their quilts.                                                                                   Melissa M
