Request from Yvonne in Africa

Paula W. has  heard from Yvonne Weinstein in Africa and asked to pass along this message to the guild.

Yvonne says she could use some red, yellow, brown, and black buttons as well as black thread. Paula will be collecting any buttons or thread donations (or money and Paula will purchase more buttons and thread) at our next meeting in December and she'll get them sent to Yvonne. Thank you!

Reminder: Guild meeting Tuesday!

You're getting an earlier-than-normal reminder for this month's guild meeting in case you've forgotten that...

• this month is the Steal Game! The theme is sewing room accessories. If you need a free pattern, check out this blog post. Please bring your item in an unmarked brown paper bag.

• this month is also the 4th exchange for those participating in the Round Robin! They're getting bigger, so it's going to take you more time and more fabric to get your row created and attached.

So, here's your full reminder list of things to bring:

• Your homemade name badge
• Your October 2019 BOM
• If you are participating in the 2019 Steal Game, your sewing room accessories in an unmarked brown paper bag.
• If you are participating in the 2019 Round Robin, your round robin exchange.
• Your Raincross Quilt Guild pin, which is worth an EXTRA ticket in the door prize drawing! If you don't have one, you can purchase one for $5 at the door.
• If you were born anytime during the calendar year, you're invited to bring a snack to share (but it's not required!). Woohoo! A bonus potluck!
• Bottled water or other non-alcoholic drink
