Reminder Guild Meeting tomorrow!

Here's your reminder that our April guild meeting is tomorrow night! Please be sure to bring your completed 50% Challenge quilts and projects and we'll hang them around the room for everyone to enjoy.

If you have some items to donate to Weinsteins2Uganda, please be sure to bring those as well. If you have some items but cannot make the meeting, please reach out to Paula W.

Here's your reminder list of things to bring:

• Your homemade name badge
• Your donation(s) to Weinsteins2Uganda
• Your completed 50% Challenge quilts
• Your Show and Share quilts
• Your March Block of the Month
• Your Raincross Quilt Guild pin, which is worth an EXTRA ticket in the door prize drawing! If you don't have one, you can purchase one for $5 at the door.
• Bottled water or other non-alcoholic drink

Sewing Donations Needed for Weinsteins2Uganda

"In 2 short weeks, Yvonne Weinstein will be visiting from Uganda.  As you remember, we have supported her with quilting supplies the past few years. The Weinstein's are expanding, and Yvonne has even trained Gabriel, formerly the security guard, to teach sewing and travel to other places. Since they have expanded, more supplies are needed. If you are able to help, Yvonne has a wish list of things that are needed:

3 fine mist spray bottles

4 seam rippers

3 pincushions

8 scissors

4 rotary cutters

Rotary blades

1  24" ruler

1 cutting mat 18" x 24"

3   6 1/2  x 12 1/2" rulers

Thread-black, white, cream

3 Chalk markers and chalk

If you prefer to make a monetary donation, I will also collect money and shop for what is still needed. If you cannot donate at this time, thoughts and prayers are needed and they don't cost anything but are just as important.  Please bring your donations to our next meeting on Tuesday, April 19th at the Goeseke Center.
