  1. What a great quote as a theme for our quilting. Hard to believe but as a garment sewer, I would make the entire outfit but not hem or complete the last step. Yes, really! So when I began quilting I adopted this philosophy quoted above. It doesn't mean I don't have UFOs but I've tried to complete what I begin so there will be a legacy of finished quilts out there with my name on the quilt label. Betcha wouldn't have guessed that I used to be a non-finisher!

  2. This is a great encouraging quote. I am still a non-finisher and trying to get motivated. I have so many UFOs that it is almost overwhelming. What motivates you?

  3. If nothing else, be sure to keep directions and quilt information with the quilt fabric so whomever picks it up knows what the intention of the quilter was. This is what I'm dealing with as I try to finish my mother's quilts
