Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat...

Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner and while all of us are feverishly stitching away to finish gifts for Christmas, now it also the time to start thinking about those amazing holiday meals we'll be preparing or contributing to. Ed. note: *cough*December-guild-meeting-potluck-*cough*

On top of that, we haven't added a new permanent recipe to our recipe collection here on the RQG website in almost TWO YEARS!

So, now is the time for you to share your secret awesome recipe so that we can add it to our own arsenal of awesome tasties for the upcoming holiday season - break open that cookbook or list of to-die-for recipe website links and tell us what's awesome!

  1. Add Martha Stewart's Chocolate Pecan Pie to the recipe collection. I've been making this for Thanksgiving every year since around 2012. I think the chocolate really makes the pie! :D There were never leftovers so I had to make 2 last time.

The recipe can be found at https://www.marthastewart.com/341293/chocolate-pecan-pie

Tips: Use Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips and for extra nuttiness, I mix in an extra 1/2-1 cup of chopped pecans and then still arrange a pretty layer of pecans on top. The amount I add depends on the depth of the pie dish I am using.
